Genotypes identified are based on the capsid followed by the polymerase gene (RdRp); (b) Phylogenetic analysis of the VP1 amino acid sequence from reference genotypes, including the 13 norovirus genotypes and GII.4 variants selected to generate viral-like particles (VLPs) to be used as antigens in the blockade assay (black dots). These VLPs are representative of the most common genotypes circulating in the birth cohort during the surveillance period.
