MOI-independent effects of SMKIs on IAV infection in vitro. A549 cells were infected with NL09 and NL11 at MOI = 0.1 (low) or MOI = 3 (high) for up to 72 hpi in the presence of SMKIs at [0.25×]_max (gray) and [0.5×]_max (white) concentrations or left untreated (red). At 24, 48 and 72 hpi, supernatants were collected, and viral titers were quantified by a TCID₅₀/mL assay (n = 4).
