LPS promotes macrophage inflammatory responses. Intracellular pro-ADAM-10 is processed into ADAM-10. Additionally, ADAM-10 protein secretion is increased. In this process, ADAM-10 promotes MMP-12 expression, which is jointly related to the LPS-induced inflammatory response.
