PES directly binds to both PfHsp70-1 and PfHop. As a ligand, each of PfHsp70-1 or PfHsp70-1NBD or PfHop was immobilized at a concentration of 0.1 μg/ml. The assay was conducted in the presence of variable levels of PES. The interaction between ligand and analyte was determined at equilibrium. Each curve is the average determined for three independent experiments, each performed in triplicate. The error bars are indicated as standard error about the mean.
