Setup for in vitro cmmPA imaging. Laser pulses are focused to a beam of 6 mm around the region of interest. An FPGA module ensures precise timing between lasing and each image recorded by the programmable scanner (Verasonics). A function generator both starts the imaging sequence and the magnetic burst. A cooling system ensures no heat is transferred from the magnet to the sample.
