Thirteen patients with mucoepidermoid carcinoma (MEC), ten patients with adenoid cystic carcinoma (AdCC), eight patients with acinic cell carcinoma (ACC), six patients with salivary duct carcinoma (SDC) and six patients with adenocarcinoma not otherwise specified (AdCaNOS) were included. The expression of CD47 differed between tumor cells (a) and TIICs (b) among histological subtypes and tissue compartments, such as the tumor center and tumor periphery.
