NOR = Normal control treated with distilled water; E2V = E2V-control treated with distilled water; SG + E2V = Animals treated with the S. gilo hydroethanolic extract at the doses of 125, 250, and 500 mg/kg BW. TAM + E2V = Animals treated with tamoxifen (3.3 mg/kg BW); all groups except the normal group (NOR) received chronic administration of E2V at the dose of 1 mg/kg BW.
