NK cells were cocultured for 3 days, in either absence or presence of different MSCs at 10:1 NK : MSC ratio. The expression levels of CD16, NKp30, NKp44, NKp46, NKG2D antigens on NK cells were examined by flow cytometry using the monoclonal antibodies after selecting the population of CD56dim. The data are presented as the means ± SD of the percentages of NK cells that expressed a given marker from 4 independent experiments. *p < 0.05; **p < 0.005; vs NK cells; #p < 0.05vs NK cells + IL2. Paired Student’s t-test was used for the analysis.
