The amount of NAD+ and the activity of SIRT were measured in blood obtained from patients before and 0.5, 1, 2, 3, and 5 h after intravenous administration of NMN (a-f). NAD+-consuming enzyme-related genes were measured in blood cells before and 5 h after the intravenous administration of NMN (g). The results were analyzed via a one-way analysis of variance with Bonferroni’s post-test and are expressed as mean ± standard deviation (n = 10, * p < 0.05, ** p < 0.01).
