Data are p means ± SEM. In one cell, GABAA receptors were first blocked with picrotoxin (100 μM), revealing a long‐lasting GABAB‐mediated IPSP with amplitude −1.7 mV and half‐width 239.7 ms (see Fig. 5 Eb).
Isolated by application of CGP 55845 (1 μM).
Baseline responses were biphasic.
IPSP amplitude increased following application of CGP 55845, likely because of blockade of presynaptic GABAB receptors (Price et al., 2008).
