Joints assessed (left to right) include (a) passive dorsiflexion of fifth finger ≥ 90° (one point per side); (b) passive apposition of the thumb to ipsilateral forearm (one point per side); (c) hyperextension of the elbow ≥ 10° (one point per side); (d) hyperextension of the knee ≥ 10° (one point per side); and (e) spinal assessment (one point if both palms reach the floor when bending over with knees locked in extension and feet together).
