Fig. 6 — Bioplastic products made from seaweed. In the food industry, seaweed polysaccharides can be purified and used to make a variety of bioplastic products. The resulting bioplastics are safe, non-toxic, and have superior durability and mechanical performance. In addition, bioplastics are biodegradable and recyclable, providing the environment with sustainable, green, and eco-friendly plastics
