Schematic of the study. Tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) densities were evaluated on H&E slides and were split into high and low TILs based on cut-off of 20%. Study cohort was randomly divided into training and validation cohort at a 7:3 ratio and similar high TILs proportion was kept in training and validation cohort. Regions of interest (ROIs) were segmented from the original breast MRI. Radiomics features were extracted from ROIs and were used to develop a TILs prediction model.
