Marking foreground and background pixels in Labkit
Pixels that make up the cell soma are marked as foreground using the red foreground label with a brush size of 1 (A). Background pixels and those that make up the axons are marked using the blue background label with a brush size of 1(B). After labeling, the machine learning algorithm can be trained to detect the cell soma (C).
