OR and 95% CI were determined using a GEE model with a logit link to account for repeated measures. The unadjusted model controlled for randomization arm and time. The adjusted model additionally controlled for age, the number of vaginal sex acts in the past 30 days, any STI (C. trachomatis, N. gonorrhoeae, T. vaginalis, M. genitalium), and inflammation status.
