Animation of Figure 4 showing actin filament severing. The movie shows each time point from Figure 4 six times before transitioning to the subsequent time point. The 5 panel sequence is repeated 5 times by the end of the movie. The yellow asterisk appears in the frame in which severing of the two filaments is apparent (e.g., severing occurred in the 3 sec between Figure 4Aii, 186 sec, and 4Aiii, 189 sec). The times shown are from Supplemental Movie 1, from which these severing sequences are taken). Similar animation was used for the bottom two panels, showing different severing events.
