We investigated the associations of IGFBP3 plasma levels with (a) tumor size (T descriptor), (b) locoregional lymph nodes (N descriptor), (c) distant metastasis (M descriptor), (d) clinical tumor stage, (e) number of metastatic sites, (f) tumor grading, (g) necrosis, (h) proliferation index (Ki-67 stain), and IGF1 plasma levels.
