Table 1. Concentrations of the Zinc Salt Solutions (CZn(NO3)26(H2O)), Cellulose Dispersions (CCNF-disp), and NaOH Solutions (CNaOH), Respectively, for Each Reactiona.
sample order | sample specification | CZn(NO3)26(H2O) (M) | CCNF-disp (g/L) | CNaOH (M) | CCNF (g/L)b | T (°C) |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
run 1 | ZnORef-flower | 0.45 | 0 | 3 | 0 | 40 |
run 2 | ZnOCNF1-flower | 0.45 | 0.1 | 3 | 0.05 | 40 |
run 3 | ZnOCNF2-flower | 0.45 | 0.2 | 3 | 0.1 | 40 |
run 4 | ZnORef-sea-urchin | 0.45 | 0 | 4.5 | 0 | 60 |
run 5 | ZnOCNF1-sea-urchin | 0.45 | 0.1 | 4.5 | 0.05 | 60 |
run 6 | ZnOCNF2-sea-urchin | 0.45 | 0.2 | 4.5 | 0.1 | 60 |
CNF1 and CNF2 refer to the final cellulose concentrations of 0.05 and 0.1 g/L in the mixed solutions.
CCNF-disp is the concentration of CNF in the CNF dispersion prior to mixing it with the zinc salt solution, while CCNF is the concentration of CNF after mixing all constituting dispersions and solutions together.
