Association between choroidal thickness at baseline (P14, x-axis) and refractive error at P28 (RE, y-axis), after 14 days of either normal growth (A, C, E) or form deprivation (B, D, F) when the two guinea pig strains were combined (A, B) and when analyzed with strains separated (C, D, E, F). These strong associations (r = 0.50) indicate that baseline choroidal thickness could predict susceptibility to myopia development. 2W MFD, two weeks of monocular form deprivation myopia inducement; β, regression coefficient; D, diopters.
