Risk factors in bold are those for which there was a significant association with unplanned ICU readmission in one age group but not the other after adjusting for covariables. Of note, even when a significant association between a risk factor and unplanned ICU readmission existed in both age groups, the magnitude of that association often differed notably between the age groups.
