FMT-related short-term AEs. Overall, 70 AEs were observed in 508 FMT courses. These AEs included abdominal pain (n = 23), fever (n = 12), abdominal distension (n = 10), constipation (n = 9), diarrhea (n = 6), hematochezia (n = 4), eczema (n = 2), painful urination (n = 2), nausea or vomiting (n = 1), and purpura (n = 1).
