(A) In the ALI model, lung tissue samples were harvested and homogenized at 6 h after LPS challenge. (B) DCs were stimulated with different concentrations of melatonin in the presence or absence of LPS (100 ng/mL) for 24 h and the DC supernatants were harvested. The MDA contents in the lung tissue lysate and DC supernatants were tested by using commercial kits. The data shown represent the means ± SD from one of three independent experiments.
