(A–C) In the ALI model, BALF samples were collected at 6 h after LPS challenge. (D–F) DCs were treated with different concentrations of melatonin in the presence or absence of LPS (100 ng/mL) for 24 h, and then the DC supernatants were harvested. The secretion of IL-1β, IL-6, and TGF-β in the BALF and DC supernatants was measured by using commercial kits. The data shown represent the means ± SD from one of three independent experiments.
