Distribution of TCT and TT terminators among copies of two young Can variants (b1Y and b2). The Can copies present in the German Shepherd genome but missing in the wolf orthologous loci were selected. Can_b2 sequences were distinguished by the GG insertion between Can_b1 positions 92/93 (designated as GG and ΔΔ, respectively). A less definite marker was G or A in position 163 in Can_b1 and Can_b2, respectively. TCT refers to the major TCTTT as well as to TCT, TCTT, and TCT >3. TT refers to TT, TTT, and T >3.
