Improvements to traditional sensing techniques through software improvements. (a) Conventional E-AB methods susceptible to electrochemically accelerated monolayer desorption and monolayer fouling that can reduce signal and utility whereas (b) automatic-peak-tracking improves sensor longevity. (c) Conventional in vivo EAB sensing requires more complicated 3-electrode placement inside the body, reproduced from [12] compared to (d) auto-peak tracking EAB allows simplified use of a single working electrode in the body.
