Specific growth rates of the 35-deletion, prototrophic minimal CCM strain under a broad range of growth conditions. Specific growth rates of the prototrophic S. cerevisiae strains CEN.PK113-7D (naive reference strain), IMX372 (minimal glycolysis (MG)), and IMX2538 (minimal CCM) under different growth conditions are shown. Specific growth rates were measured in triplicate cultures using a growth profiler, except for those in the SMPyr and SMD-anaerobic cultures, which were measured in independent duplicate shake flask cultures.
