FIG 2 — Distribution of carbapenemases among the major clonal groups in carbapenem-resistant K. pneumoniae. The carriage of OXA-48-type enzymes was associated with CG14/15 (P ≤ 0.001), CG17/20 (P = 0.002), CG147 (P ≤ 0.001), and ST231 (P ≤ 0.001). The carriage of NDM enzymes was associated with CG14/15 (P ≤ 0.001) and ST231 (P = 0.015). KPC carriage was not associated with any of the clonal groups. The P values indicated here are determined by chi-square tests for two-group comparisons of each CG/ST versus all other CG/STs. Abbreviations: CG, clonal group; CP, carbapenemase; ST, sequence type.
