According to clinical findings and traditional X-ray, SLE arthritis can be classified into three different subtypes with different prevalences, biomarkers, and MRI findings: nondeforming nonerosive (NDNE) arthritis; radiologically nonerosive but deforming arthropathy, namely, Jaccoud’s arthropathy; and rheumatoid-like erosive arthritis.
