Lipid droplet formation induced by lipoprotein-deprived medium. Lung cancer cell lines are seeded into a lipoprotein-depleted medium. After seven days of growth, cells were fixed and stained with ORO and DAPI to stain LDs (labeled in red) and nuclei (labeled in blue), respectively.
