Fused bicuspid aortic valve. (A) Represents short-axis normal tricuspidal aortic pattern with anatomical proximities. Cusps’ fusion patterns seen in short heart axis: right-left coronary fusion (B), right-non coronary fusion (C). All BAVs have three sinuses. Raphe structure is between the fused cusps. Non-fused cusp is prominent in respect to the fused ones. The commissure angle of the non-fused cusp has a degree < 180°.
