aDiet: Control diet contained 30% berseem clover + 30% corn silage + 15% soybean meal + 25% yellow corn, without additives, or supplemented with E. faecium EGY_NRC1 (isolated to contains 1.1 × 109 CFU/g) or commercial E. faecium NCIMB 11181 (isolated to contains 2 × 1012 CFU/g) at 2 g/kg feed daily/cow.
