Statistical significance was calculated using Generalized estimation equations (~Time + age). Significance threshold was set to FDR < 0.05, and all significant metabolite features from within diet group analysis and among specified subclasses are depicted in Table 2. Analysis was adjusted with age as covariate. * Denotes metabolite features that were also significant (FDR < 0.05) and modulated in the same direction in the Control group analysis.
