Study designs:	All types of quantitative observational studies
Study setting:	All documents reporting on point-of-use water treatment practice in Ethiopian households, regardless of their study area.
Time frame:	All studies published up to May 5, 2022, were taken into account.
Publication condition:	Articles published in peer-reviewed journals and relevant grey pieces of literature were included in this review.
Language:	Only articles reported in English were considered.
