Expressions of miR-21-5p and miR-126 in all subjects. The bar chart shows the expressions of (A) miR-21-5p and (B) miR-126 measured by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction in the control group (n = 50), infarct-related artery total occlusion (IR-ATO) acute myocardial infarction (AMI) group (n = 51), and IR-blood-vessel recanalization (BVR) AMI group (n = 49). The relative microRNA expression was calculated using the 2^−ΔΔCt method. The differences between the groups were compared using a one-way analysis of variance (**p < 0.001). The IR-ATO group is denoted by VO, and the IR-BVR group is denoted by VIO.
