The MPO-DNA high group was defined as OD value > 0.62 (mean + 2SD of HC). Group differences in the proportion of categorical variables were analyzed using Fisher’s exact tests.

Anti-dsDNA Ab anti-double stranded DNA antibody, CRP C-reactive protein, ESR erythrocyte sedimentation rate, HC healthy control, MPO-DNA myeloperoxidase-DNA, OD optical density, SD standard deviation, SLEDAI-2K systemic lupus erythematosus disease activity index 2000.
