rhCD82 inhibits the expression of TGF-β1 receptors and integrins in TGF-β1-stimulated ARPE-19 cells. The cells were pretreated with or without 400 ng/ml rhCD82 for 1 h and additionally incubated with 10 ng/ml TGF-β1 for 24 h. Subsequently, the cells were immunostained with TGF-β receptor 1 (TGFR1; (A), TGF-β receptor 2 (TGFR2; (B), integrin β1 (C), and integrin αvβ5 (D). DAPI was used to counterstain the nuclei. The stained cells were observed under a confocal laser scanning microscope (scale bar of A and B, 50 μm; scale bar of C and D, 75 μm).
