Phylogenetic relationships of C. meleagridis subtypes identified in chicken here and parts of other known subtypes deposited in GenBank were inferred by a neighbor-joining analysis of gp60 sequences of C. meleagridis based on genetic distances by the Kimura two-parameter model.
