Western blot analysis of meningococcal whole-cell lysates. Bacteria at either the exponential (lanes 2 and 4) or the stationary (lanes 3 and 5) phase were harvested and lysed by sonication. The protein concentrations were determined, and equal amounts of protein were loaded.
