The contribution of T-cell subsets to the DNA-induced immune response. Pooled spleen-derived lymphocytes from five mice immunized with DNA-85B (100 μg, intramuscularly) were depleted of CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ cells by using magnetic beads as described in Materials and Methods. The results indicate the proliferative response (A) and IFN-γ production (B) of undepleted cells and subsets and of undepleted cells from mice immunized with the control vector in a recall response to Ag85B (10 μg/ml).
