Retic reticulocyte count (absolute and relative), Creat creatinine, Gluc glucose, Chol total cholesterol, Trig triglycerides, Na sodium, K potassium, Cl chloride, Ca calcium, Phos inorganic phosphorus, Total Prot total protein, Alb albumin, SG1 specific gravity, Vol volume.

Significant differences between peptide vs. control groups are expressed at 5% (*p < 0.05) or 1% (**p < 0.01) level. For statistical analysis, Dunnett, Shirley or Williams tests were used.
