Inactivation of astroglial connexin functions hinders venlafaxine-induced antidepressant-like effects in the corticosterone mouse model of depression. Emotionality z-score was calculated based on a comprehensive battery of behavioral test ran at Week 18 (A,B) and Week 23 (C,D). A z-score >0 indicates a depressive-like state, whereas a score <0 indicates an antidepressant-like state.
