Mean advanced oxidation protein products (AOPP) measured in mice serum. AOPP concentration (μmol/L of chloramine-T equivalents). Balb/c mice inoculated with CT26 cells treated by weekly intraperitoneal injection with the vehicle (8 mice), oxaliplatin (8 mice, 10 mg/kg/week), OxPt-2-Mn1C1A (9 mice, 10 mg/kg/week), and Mn1C1A + oxaliplatin (9 mice, 10 mg/kg/week) and sacrificed. In the sera of mice treated with Mn1C1A+ oxaliplatin and with OxPt-2-Mn1C1A, AOPP levels were significantly lower than the vehicle and the oxaliplatin group (p < 0.05), reflecting seric MnSOD activity. The p-values are denoted as follows: * p < 0.05 and *** p < 0.001.
