The MTT assay was used to determine the effect of C, dmC, and bdmC on cell proliferation in a variety of prostate cancer cell lines. PC3, LNCaP, DU145, and C42B were treated with the indicated doses of curcuminoids for 72 h. As mentioned in Section 2, the effect on cell growth was identified using an MTT experiment.
