Subgroup Events Analysis of OAC and AF After TAVR

(A) The subgroup analysis indicated the increased risk of late bleeding events in patients with oral anticoagulant (OAC) use compared with in those without OAC use. Higher bleeding risk was found in the elderly cohort with transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) that was being administered OACs. (B) The increased late bleeding events were found in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) rather than in those without AF. (C) In contrast to the late bleeding events, the subgroup analysis indicated the similar rate of ischemic stroke between the OAC and no OAC groups. (D) The rate of ischemic stroke was similar between the AF and no AF groups.
