Model for the SnRK1/TOR/FLZ signaling network. Under unfavorable conditions, both FLZ6 and FLZ10 repress SnRK1, allowing TOR signaling, in an ER localization manner. Under favorable conditions, FLZ8 induces TOR signaling inhibition by two different mechanisms, namely (i) promoting SnRK1 signaling through enhancing the SnRK1α1 level and (ii) stimulating RAPTOR1B–SnRK1α1 interaction in the ER.
