ARG1 levels are increased in the bone marrow monocytic cells in MM patients. The intensity of the intracellular staining for ARG1 in the myeloid cells subsets in the bone marrow of healthy individuals and MM patients evaluated in flow cytometry. General myeloid cells were identified as living CD45+CD11b+ (left), monocytic cells—as living CD45+CD11b+HLA-DRnegCD14+CD15neg (middle), and granulocytic cells—as living CD45+CD11b+HLA-DRnegCD14negCD66b+CD15+ (right). P-value was calculated with an unpaired two-tailed t-test. All graphs present means ± SD, n = 10 (healthy), n = 46 (MM).
