Terminology used in Parler and Twitter

Parler term	Twitter term	Definition
Parley (plural: parleys)	Tweet (plural: tweets)	A post on the social media platform. Parleys range up to 1000 text characters, while Tweets range up to 280 characters.
Echo	Re-Tweet	A re-posting of post on the platform.
Hashtag	Hashtag	A word or phrase prefixed with the pound (#) sign, usually identifying topics in the text
Comment	Comment	A reply to a post, up to the length the social media account allows.
Upvotes	Likes	An indication of approval of a post.
