Deep blue boxes indicate the metabolite is significant and more abundant in PD1074 compared to the test strain. Deep red boxes indicate the metabolite is significant and more abundant in the test strain. Light colored boxes indicate the direction of effect when the metabolite is not significantly different between PD1074 and the test strain. For compounds with more than one significant feature, the highest effect size feature is used for this figure. The significant compound list provides metabolites to pursue in subsequent experiments (Supplementary Table S3).
