Schematic overview of the study

The study consists of two cohorts with varied characteristics. The 516 volunteers recruited in 2017 were regarded as the initial study cohort. The 632 volunteers recruited in 2018 were regarded as the second cohort. Vagino-cervical microbiome, fecal microbiome, metabolites, medical test data, physical fitness test data, facial skin features, and three kinds of questionnaires were collected in both cohorts. Salivary microbiome was only available in the second cohort; among medical test results, InBody results, which measure body composition, were only available in the initial study cohort; the woman life history questionnaires differ by a few terms (Table S1).
