Biofilm inhibitory activity of the crocCATHs. The MBIC95 values of the synthetic peptides were determined by a microdilution assay using crystal violet to stain the adhered bacterial biomass. MBIC95 was defined as the minimal peptide concentration capable of inhibiting mean biofilm growth by at least 95% compared to the untreated control. Values in μg/mL can be found in Supplementary Table S5.
